After obtaining the Consent to Establish (CTE) and Consent to Operate (CCA) from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), industries are required to comply with various environmental regulations. The CTE is typically valid for 7 years, while the CCA validity depends on the industry category: 10 years for Green, 7 years for Orange, and 5 years for Red category industries.
CTE Compliance:
Once the CTE is granted, all conditions mentioned in the CTE must be strictly followed. This compliance is necessary when applying for the CCA.
CCA Compliance – Monthly Submissions:
After receiving the CCA, the following data must be submitted monthly through the Patrak:

• Production details
• Water consumption, wastewater generation, and discharge information
• Air emission details
• Hazardous waste generation and disposal details

CCA Compliance – Annual Submissions:

1. Hazardous Waste Annual Return: Submit details in the prescribed format by GPCB. This is referred to as the Annual Statement, and the deadline for submission is 30th June for the preceding financial year.
2. Environmental Statement (Form V): This includes detailed information on air emissions, water usage and wastewater, and hazardous waste. It must be submitted in the prescribed format on or before 30th September for the previous financial year.
